Often, four suspension springs and four shock absorbers are not enough. Raising the suspension of the Land Rover Defender changes the entire suspension geometry of your Land Rover Defender. All suspension lifts on a Land Rover Defender over 25 mm require a correction, all related components. Especially with Land Rover TD4 models from 2007 onwards, it is particularly important to carry out a correct suspension installation. Unpleasant vibrations very quickly occur in the drivetrain, which can lead to consequential damage.
Land Rover Defender traction struts with 3° caster correction and TÜV
A good suspension for your Defender consists of: Tie rods with caster adjustment (front axle), push rods (rear axle), an adjustable Panhard rod, double cardan shafts and if necessary extended brake hoses. If necessary, reinforced damper domes (open) on the front axle for adjustable shock absorbers. All parts should be supplied with a TÜV parts certificate, as otherwise there may be liability problems in the event of an accident. The trailing arms of the Defender with caster correction are absolutely necessary when raising the suspension by more than 25mm. We recommend using only original or Superpro suspension bushes
(Suspension bushes are not included in the price)
