Our story

The creation of ENGAGE4X4 – Born from experience, built for extremes

ENGAGE4X4 was founded in 2008 as a military development project. The goal was to make armored Land Rover Defenders more robust and durable for extreme operations—particularly in Afghanistan. In collaboration with partners such as Steyr Motors and ZF, innovative components for drivetrain and vehicle protection were developed.

Even though the project ended prematurely, 4WARD4X4 used the know-how and founded ENGAGE4X4 – a brand that to this day stands for high-quality off-road accessories, maximum resilience and TÜV-certified quality.
