ENGAGE4X4 Wide Angle Propshaft for Defender 110 – Built for Extreme Off-Road Durability
ENGAGE4X4 propshafts are designed to withstand very heavy loads in demanding off-road conditions. The sliding joint of this Defender propshaft is protected by a sealing ring (Simmering) to prevent dirt and water from entering. The reinforced universal joints are equipped with special PU thrust washers (high-performance sealing components) based on heavy machinery standards. The universal joints are centrally greaseable for easy maintenance.
The shaft operates without stress at articulation angles of up to 30°. ENGAGE4X4 wide-angle propshafts are particularly beneficial for Defenders with suspension lifts above 50 mm and increased axle articulation. This prevents excessive strain on the universal joints when the suspension is fully extended.
The sliding joint provides more than 100 mm of axial compensation and has been greaseable on all shafts since 2014. The grease nipple is protected by a metal ring to prevent it from being torn off, ensuring the shaft remains serviceable even after extreme off-road use.
