The door handles of the Land Rover Defender are made of plastic and are not exactly stable. In off-road use it can happen that the door handle and the door are damaged by a collision with a branch, tree or a clay wall. The ENGAGE4X4 door handle protectors protect both the door handle and the door from damage. The wide contact surface distributes the force on the door stiles. The outer skin of the door is thus better protected and at the same time prevents the plastic door handles from being torn off.
